Many were taken aback in January by reports that Barcelona intended to offer a new contract to the often-injured defender Andreas Christensen. The Danish international currently has terms from Barcelona, which reportedly include a substantial salary cut, but he has yet to agree as he weighs his choices. Should Barcelona secure Bastoni, Christensen is among the players they would look to offload. Naturally, if he doesn't sign a new deal, he would depart as a free agent.

A consistent performer for Juliano Belletti this season, Cortes recently signed a contract extension until 2028.
