Regarding the seven-point advantage now held over Real Madrid in the league standings, Flick refrained from making definitive statements about the potential outcome of La Liga.

"The team is pleased; everyone understands the magnitude of today's points," Flick remarked. "However, the job isn't finished. Wednesday brings another crucial match. They are happy, but we won't over-celebrate."

He continued, "I'm not concerned with the Real Madrid result; my focus is solely on my team. Flick commented, "To me, it was evident he was attempting to clear the ball, so I didn't see it as a foul. Ultimately, VAR intervened, and that was beneficial for us. I did not consider it a red card offense."

Flick was also asked whether Robert Lewandowski's decisive goal could prove title-winning and if it might lead to a contract extension for the striker.

"That's looking a bit too far ahead," Flick responded. "I'm pleased with Robert, and I'm happy with all the players. As far as I'm concerned, nothing is decided; we still have eight matches remaining."
